Lynne Anderson, Partner, Drinker Biddle & Reath, LLP

Lynne Anderson-472435-edited.jpgAn experienced trial lawyer, Lynne has handled a wide range of employment litigation including retaliation, discrimination, and harassment claims, as well as restrictive covenant disputes, class actions, and wage and hour audits.  She has repeatedly been recognized by Chambers USA as one of America’s leading lawyers for business and by Best Lawyers in America and New Jersey Super Lawyers.  Also named one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in New Jersey, Lynne is a member of the Morris County Bar Association Employment Law Committee.

Sandra Clarke, VP Finance and CFO, Daiichi Sankyo

SandraClarkeSandra has served in numerous roles within the healthcare industry and is currently the Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Daiichi Sankyo, Inc., a Global Top 20 Pharmaceutical company. Her responsibilities include ensuring a clear, sustainable future for the company by shaping its cohesive finance strategy and direction, which includes aligning common goals, driving process improvements, and implementing best practices.  Prior, she served as the Chief Financial Officer for Philips Healthcare.

Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from MIT and a Master of Science in Accounting from Bentley University.

 John DeAmorin, Partner, KPMG

JohnDeAmorinJohn serves as KPMG's New Jersey Private Markets Group Audit Leader and Venture Capital Practice Leader. He is responsible for the cross functional business development of these practices, as well as the overall quality of service provided to KPMG's portfolio of venture-backed and private clients. John has more than 17 years of experience in conducting financial statement audits and related work for public companies with SEC filings, mid-market private companies, private equity portfolio companies, and venture backed start ups. He is experienced in various financing transactions, including IPOs, private and public debt offerings, and secondary equity offerings.

John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Seton Hall University. He also served on the Board of Trustees  as Vice Chairman and Treasurer of the Summit Speech School.

Diane De Vita, Managing Director of Accounting and Finance, Wilshire Enterprises

Diane_De_Vita.jpgDiane serves as the Managing Director of Accounting and Finance of Wilshire Enterprises Inc. , a privately owned real estate investment firm.  She is responsible for directing and overseeing all of its financial functions, leading the reporting and cash management functions and managing acquisitions, dispositions, and financing initiatives. Diane has more than 20 years of financial and accounting experience, focused on commercial and multi-family real estate development, construction, and property management.  She began her career at Citibank and transitioned into the real estate industry, serving in senior financial management roles with New York and New Jersey based full service real estate organizations.

Diane earned her bachelor’s degree from New York University and holds an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.

Karyn Egeland, Director, CBIZ Inc.

CBIZ provides financial services including accounting, tax, audit, financial advisory, government healthcare consulting, risk advisory, and valuation services. As one of the largest accounting, insurance brokerage and valuation companies in the United States, the Company’s services are provided through more than 100 Company offices in 33 states.

Prior to joining CBIZ, Karyn worked at Radius Worldwide where she helped US companies expand internationally. Prior to Radius, she served as a business development executive for Big 4 accounting and management consulting firms. She is a Fellow of the Bergen LEADS leadership program and currently sits of the Advisory Board for Bergen LEADS.

Karyn received her B.A. in Philosophy from The College of Wooster, and completed graduate studies in the M.A.T. program from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Bryan Fuerst, SVP Finance, HealthSTAR Communications

bryanfuerst.jpgBryan has been with HealthSTAR Communications for the past 14 years, holding numerous roles, ranging from Corporate Controller to Director of Integrations.  In his current role, he is responsible for the day-to-day companywide financial operations.  Bryan also serves as the Finance Director for a number of the company’s subsidiaries.  Prior to HealthSTAR, he spent time working for Hyperion, a financial software consolidation company, designing and implementing financial systems for domestic and international clients.  Bryan started his career at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he spent more than 6 years in various financial roles, including International Controller.  

Christopher Gardiner, Director, Metro New York, Radius Worldwide

Chris_Gardiner_Radius.jpgChristopher serves as the Director for the metro New York region of Radius Worldwide, where he works with clients to expand their international operations and manage their overseas global accounting and administration functions. Prior to joining Radius, he served as Senior Representative of the British Consulate-General in New York, where he directed business development efforts in North America. Christopher also led the start-up of the Lloyds Banking Group Wealth & International USA division in the northeast and held previous positions with Lloyds TSB, GlaxoSmithkline, and British Airways in the UK.

Christopher holds a Bachelors degree in Business, with honors, from Bournemouth University. 

Alice Gash, Senior Vice President and CFO, Teawolf

Alice-1.jpgAlice is Senior Vice President and CFO at Teawolf, where she is responsible for financial reporting, pricing, and human resources.  Prior, she held various positions in both the public accounting sector and a publicly traded company in the food industry.

Alice holds a master's degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and an MBA from Xiamen University in China. She is also a licensed CPA in Nebraska.

Scot Guempel, Tax Partner, KPMG

Guempel_Scot_resumeScot is the National Co-Leader of KPMG's Private Market Group Tax Practice and Mid-Market Practice, as well as the National Leader of the Closely Held Business & Owners Network. With more than 30 years at KPMG, he has provided tax consulting and compliance services to businesses in a variety of industries. 

John Kirkpatrick, Area Senior Vice President, Arthur J Gallagher

John Kirkpatrick.jpgJohn is Area Senior Vice President, Head of Sales, at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.  He is also lead advisor for the client base he has supported for over 25 years.  

Prior to joining Gallagher, John spent 14 years as the president and founder of Absolute Resource Solutions.  ARS had 20 employees and 100 clients when it was sold in 2012.

John has worked in the field of employee benefits since 1984. He began as a systems analyst for a large national insurer and worked on developing and testing the Eligibility and Claims payment systems for the first POS medical insurance programs.  In 1988 John transferred into sales operation and acted as the mid-market benefit representative to the New Jersey broker market for the same national insurer. 

John serves on the board of the Patriots’ Path Council which oversees the Boy Scout operations for most of northern NJ. 

A 1984 graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University, John has degrees in Biology and Marine Biology. John is also a Registered Health Underwriter, Group Benefit Disability Specialist.

Married since 1991, in their spare time he and his wife Jillian spend as much time as possible on or in the water either boating, sailing, or scuba diving.  John is a member at Baltusrol Golf Club, an avid fisherman, shooter, and likes to restore cars, trucks and motorcycles.  If it involves FUN, John wants to participate.

Steven Lesiak, Director of Finance & Administration, The Institute for Life Science Entrepreneurship (ILSE) 

SteveLesiak-1.jpgSteve is currently working with the management team of ILSE in its critical point of growth and expansion. He began his career with Johnson & Johnson in various finance roles across the pharma group. Steve also served as Senior Manager of Drug Development Finance at Agennix (formerly GPC Biotech) and as the Director of Finance/Controller for Lux Biosciences, Inc. In addition, he has taught Judgment and Decision Making at Montclair State University and is active in the life science community in both New Jersey and New York City.  He also serves on the Advisory Committee of The Manhattan Institute Young Leaders Circle, an economic and policy think tank in New York.

Steve holds both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers College, as well as a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Montclair State University.

Lisa Mackiewicz, Controller,Kreisler Industrial Corporation

She has more than 25 years of accounting experience with various companies, both private and publicly traded.  Prior to Kreisler Industrial Corp, Lisa spent 15 years managing the North American financial reporting for manufacturing companies, mostly in the aerospace industry. 

Lisa received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rutgers University.  She is a CPA in New Jersey and was recently accepted into the Bergen LEADS program, class of 2017.

Bob McAlonie, Managing Director-Direct Hire Placement, Randstad Professionals

With more than 25 years of successful business development and financial experience in both the public and private sector, his expertise is in developing solutions in operations, finance, knowledge management, and transitional business.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Lynchburg College. 

John O'Rourke, VP of Product Marketing, Host Analytics

JohnORourkeThe Vice President of Product Marketing at Host Analytics, John has more than 30 years of experience in the software industry, including 16 years in EPM Product Marketing at Hyperion Solutions and Oracle.  He has worked with many customers and partners on financial reporting and planning initiatives and has spoken and written on many topics in enterprise performance management. In addition, John has held positions in strategic marketing and product marketing at Dun & Bradstreet Software, Kenan Systems, and Decisyon.

John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bentley University and an MBA from Boston College.

Andrew Reich, CFO, Pearl Media 

Andrew_Reich2.jpgAndrew is the CFO of Pearl Media, overseeing Accounting, Finance, HR and IT.  He is a key member of the executive team and in this capacity, helps deliver maximum value to clients, employees and all stakeholders. Andrew has more than 15 years’ experience in finance and accounting.  In this time, he has worked with Fortune 500 companies for Deloitte & Touche's Assurance and Advisory group and has serviced middle market entities in Lehman Brothers' Cash Management practice.  Most recently, prior to Pearl Media, he held the CFO position at e-commerce fulfillment provider Dotcom Distribution.

Andrew is a CPA and a CGMA and he holds a MBA with a concentration in Professional Accounting.

Tobey Rumack, Vice President of Finance, Kinedyne


As the Vice President of Finance at Kinedyne, a leading manufacturer and distributor of cargo control products, Tobey is responsible for all finance and accounting functions. With more than 20 years of experience in managing the financial operations of various companies,  she has a consistent record for resolving complex problems, adding integrity, driving major process improvements, and working closely as a true business partner to achieve strategic business objectives.

Tobey received both her MBA and her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rider University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Ashley Sarokhan, Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager, Capital One Bank 

ashley.jpgAshley has more than 10 years of experience in financial services, with extensive business development and deal sourcing experience as well as portfolio management and credit expertise. As Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager with Capital One Bank. she  is responsible for new business development and deal sourcing activities, which include outreach to business brokers, investment banks, attorneys, accountants and consultants. She partners with middle market companies that have sales revenues between $10 million and $2 billion and provides credit across multiple industries, debt structures, and corporate profiles.

Ashley has a BS in Finance from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

Paul G. Smith, Senior Vice President, Arthur J. Gallagher Inc.

Gallagher Inc. has over 20 years of employee benefits and retirement planning consulting experience.  He has been providing outstanding guidance to employers with 2-1000 employees.   Paul has been working with Gallagher for 13 years, and is considered one of the leading benefits specialists in our organization, having made President’s Club, the companies Highest Honor, in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2015.

Paul specializes in the design, sale, implementation, and administration of group and voluntary employee benefit programs and retirement plans.  Paul is also well versed in PPACA (Patient Protection Affordable Care Act) and has been consulting with his clients on its effects to Individuals and Corporations.

Prior to joining the Gallagher Team, Paul was employed as an Employee Benefits Specialist at Marsh, Inc. / Marsh Advantage America, Inc. in the NYC office and was the leading producer in his department.  Mr. Smith was formerly employed as the Regional Director of Marketing for Empire Health Care Benefits Agency, Inc., the benefits marketing arm of Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield.  Paul has also worked as a Registered Representative with John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company specializing in Financial Planning and Long - Term Care.

Mr. Smith, a Fordham University graduate, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and Management.  He is licensed for Life, Accident, Health, Property and Casualty, and maintains his FINRA Series 6 and 63 Securities licenses, and GBDS Designation (Group Benefits Disability Specialist). 

Mark Slakter, Director - Executive Consulting, Randstad USA

Mark Slakter.jpgMark Slakter has been in the Executive Consulting search business since 1998, having started 2 consulting practices within two national staffing firms and he's run his own business for 12 years within that time frame.  He joined Randstad Professionals in 2014 to support a growing C-Level practice within one of the largest talent firms in the world. 

Mark graduated from Binghamton University and lives in northern New Jersey with his wife and 3 children.  

Sandy Sours, Managing Director, Stout Risius Ross

She regularly serves Fortune 500, middle market, and international companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, fairness and solvency opinions, financial reporting, tax valuation, corporate finance, and other transaction-related matters. Prior to joining SRR, Sandy was a Vice President and Managing Director at American Appraisal, a division of Duff and Phelps. In addition to serving as an adjunct professor at a local college, she worked with a major Philadelphia bank and at Procter & Gamble. 

Christopher (Chris) Springer, Principal, Clarity Services Group

Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Managing Director of ConvergEx Holdings. Chris also worked for Executive Services Inc. (ESI), where he held accounting roles and served as Controller and CFO. He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Company in New York, specializing in the financial services sector. 

Chris is a Certified Public Accountant with a Series 27 license. He holds a both Masters and Bachelors degree in Accounting.
