Becky Blackler, President
Becky is the President of The CFO Leadership Council, considered the premier CFO education and networking group on the East Coast. Blackler has served in various positions with the organization since 2009, including its original administrator, Marketing Chair, and Executive Director, and has helped to double its membership size, institute its affiliate partnership program, establish new chapters across the East Coast, as well as produce its highly-acclaimed annual CFO conferences.
Prior to leading The CFO Leadership Council, Blackler was the Director of Marketing for Corporate Focus, the leading cloud-based equity reporting solution for privately-held companies (acquired by Solium Capital in December 2012). Prior to Corporate Focus, Blackler was the founder of Red Plate Marketing, a trusted marketing resource for companies of all sizes and industries across New England.
Blackler has also served as the sole marketing resource in a variety of organizations, including technology start-ups and professional services companies. She started her career at Voce Communications, a high-tech PR agency.
Blackler currently serves as Vice President for Boston Women in Finance, as well as has served as Chair of the Gotham 128 Networking Group (Gotham Networking, NYC).
Blackler earned her Bachelor of Arts in PR/Advertising from The Pennsylvania State University.
Jack McCullough, Founder
Jack is the Founder of The CFO Leadership Council, an organization he began in 2006, with the vision of providing world class professional development programs and networking events for chief financial officers. The CFO Leadership Council has remained true to his original vision of being “Of the CFO, for the CFO and by the CFO.” Under his leadership, the organization grew to be the largest group in New England whose members comprised solely senior financial executives. He is also a founder of the MIT Sloan CFO Summit, which has been recognized as the most influential conference for chief financial officers in the world.
Formerly, Jack was the director of KPMG's Global Innovation Center in Kendall Square, where he worked with early-stage investors, entrepreneurs, CFOs and other members of the venture community. Prior to working at KPMG, he worked as CFO for 26 startups, raising over $200 million in capital. As a former chief financial officer and entrepreneur, he can empathize with the challenges that financial leaders face in growing today's businesses.
Angela Tise, Northeast Regional Director
Angela is the Northeast Regional Director for The CFO Leadership Council, championing our chapters in NYC, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and New Jersey. She is an experienced manager who knows how to motivate staff to consistently strive for and achieve excellence. Her positive outlook continues to support her achievements. She will lead senior financial executives to create phenomenal events, welcome new CFOs to join our chapters and create unique opportunities for our sponsors to build true relationships with our members.
Angela began her career at Unilever Cosmetics Corporation as a Global Marketing Liaison, where she was responsible for the sales aids and advertising of more than 35 brands. She was also the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Panasonic and, most recently Manager of Membership Services for FEI. Angela also volunteers as a committee leader and instructor for the Willow Tree Center, helping young adults with communication & coping skills.
Angela received a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts degree in Education at Montclair State University. She lives in NJ with her husband where someday soon she plans to get her private pilot’s license.
Jennifer Langley, Southeast Regional Director
Jennifer is the Southeast Regional Director of The CFO Leadership Council, the premier networking and educational forum for senior financial executives. She manages the membership, events and growth of the Atlanta and Jacksonville Chapters, and the Association’s expansion strategy into other key Southeastern cities.
Jennifer brings The CFO Leadership Council team over fifteen years of corporate and private event planning services and association management for professional member organizations. She provides administration and management services including membership management and communications, database management, registration management; along with creative production, direction and distribution management for newsletters, invitations, marketing collateral, email campaigns and website.
Jennifer graduated in 1991 with a BBA in Risk Management from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and launched her career as Communications and Crisis Manager for The Coca-Cola Company with responsibilities including meeting planning and communications, project management, and risk management including insurance claim preparation, claim audit oversight, crisis management and crisis communications. Jennifer founded her own event planning and association management firm in 1997. Notable clients have included the Atlanta Chapters of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and International Women’s Forum (IWF).
Kristin Todd, Senior Marketing Director
Kristin is the Senior Marketing Director for the CFO Leadership Council, the premier educational & networking forum for senior financial executives. In this role, Kristin spearheads all corporate communication as both a leader and resource for our Regional Directors and Marketing Directors. Together they will promote, brand and position the group with one mission in mind: to develop strong, ethical leadership at all professional levels, from Controller to CFO.
Kristin has thrived in a variety of industries – technology, healthcare, finance, and telecom — with client communications always in the forefront! Successful initiatives in her corner include the MIT CFO Summit (and other annual symposiums), several re-branding launches, monthly newsletters, and countless tradeshows. Her default settings — professional, respectful and enthusiastic. She is an active community member, past board member on several youth groups and firmly believes attitude is everything!
Kristin received her BBA from UMASS Amherst’s Isenberg School of Business. She planted her roots in Foxboro, MA with her husband, Joe, two children Jess & Katy, Tom Brady and the occasional hydrangea in bloom.
Jeanene Orlando, Southwest Regional Director
Jeanene is the Southwest Regional Director, and the National Business Development Executive for The CFO Leadership Council. She has over 19 years of Business Development experience in the Financial Services industry, as well as owning her own Insurance Agency. Her ability to uncover opportunity and build a successful brand will help us grow into emerging markets and achieve our initiatives for growth. Prior to joining The CFO Leadership Council, Jeanene was Sales Director for Radius Worldwide, who specializes in international expansion. In that role, she developed the Texas and Louisiana markets, creating brand awareness, as well as, developing educational events for C-suite executives on the risk and requirements of overseas expansion.
Her comfort in connecting with people and building meaningful relationships are strengths she brings to The CFO Leadership Council. She is well connected in her community, and is a native Houstonian, currently residing in the suburbs of Cypress, Texas. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Marketing, and is the class of 1998…Whoop!
Jeanene’s a passion for people is apparent in her professional life and her personal life. She currently leads a community group for Single Moms, with a mission to encourage, inspire, and empower them to do the seemingly impossible! Additionally, she’s a sponsor for Compassion International, who’s cause is to release children from poverty around the World…she is always looking for ways she can inspire and help others!
John Gimpert, Chicago Area Director
John is the Chicago Area Director for The CFO Leadership Council. He is a seasoned executive consultant with over 35 years of experience in advising Chief Financial Officers and Boards to raise the effectiveness of their financial operations capabilities and governance structures to enable realization of their desired strategies. His functional areas of capability include: finance strategy and operations, financial reporting improvement, corporate governance and compliance, post-merger integration, IPO readiness. John’s industry background includes medical device manufacturing, and industrial and process manufacturing. John has lead large cross-functional and diverse teams, and is effective at leadership coaching, and team development. He brings integrity-based interpersonal skills to objectively seek the art of the possible while generating a balanced sense of urgency.
As a partner and national leader in Deloitte’s Finance Transformation practice and with over 35 years, John consulted with some of Deloitte's largest, most, complex clients. Finance executives and Boards interacted with John for his experience in finance strategies, finance organization design and delivery models, finance process improvements, and reporting practices. John also served in a leadership role within Deloitte's CFO Center of Excellence. In this role, he developed a leading edge approach to assist new CFOs to on-board successfully.
In addition to his professional career, John serves as an Executive-Fellow for the United Way of Metropolitan Chicago a $60 million not-for-profit organization. He received his BBA in Accounting and his MBA in Finance from Wayne State University.
Toni Clubb, West Coast Regional Director
Toni is the West Coast Regional Director for The CFO Leadership Council, with her focus on the Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego chapters. She relies on her extensive 38 years of professional experience, both as a CFO and in other financial management roles, to lead and grow the west coast membership.
Toni was most recently the Chief Financial Officer for Vita Tech International Inc, an FDA-regulated global nutritional supplement manufacturer in Tustin, California, where she was responsible for all financial and treasury operations, IT resources, and integrated business systems. With Vita Tech, she successfully completed her third career system conversion project with a $1 million systems implementation, including the system validation component, replacing a 15-year-old legacy system.
Toni has also held leadership roles at PepsiCo, Inc.and W.R. Grace and served as a controller for a company encompassing hotel and restaurant operations, furniture rental, nutritional supplement manufacturing, and pet products. Here, she oversaw 560 profit centers in 13 states, as well as a hotel construction project, exceeding $10 million.
Through her career, Toni has successfully improved operational results and provided significant contributions during turnaround situations, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. In each of her positions, she has relied on the development of new and emerging computer systems to provide accurate, timely management information for critical business decisions. Regardless of the challenges of each of her positions, she consistently displayed a commitment to excellence, with a vibrant attitude and an infectious sense of humor. Her dedication to developing and mentoring fellow employees in a positive and enriching environment has earned her the loyalty of co-workers.
Toni earned an MBA, with honors, from National University where she attended on a leadership scholarship and represented the university in a major media campaign. She also holds an undergraduate degree from Florida International University and attended on academic and athletic scholarships. On a personal level, Toni’s real passion in life is competing internationally in women’s masters’ volleyball, where she and her teammates are perennial medal winners.
